Project Information

For this project at Springwell Secondary School we devised a series of 8 full day sculpture workshops for 25 Year 10 students who were struggling to engage with their maths lessons.

The workshops provided students with irresistible learning opportunities through the medium of visual art. We covered many of the key stage 3 mathematical topics from the national curriculum including: ratios, percentages, surface area, volume, fractions, perimeters, averages and budgeting.

The final sculptures were displayed around the new school building.
